Trip to Taj Mahal

All the pictures below were taken in April 2015 (During my mid-sem break). Taj Mahal is located in the city of Agra in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. It was Commisioned in 1632 by Shah Jahan, a Mughal Emperor as a mausoleum for his favorite wife, Mumtaz Mahal. 

We reached Delhi a night before the trip and stayed there for 2 days. The next morning, we began our journey to Agra by tempo. It took us about 4 hours to reach Agra just to visit this wonder of the world! 

One of the souvenir shops we stopped by during our journey to Agra. 

There are 3 entrance gates available. This is one of them. There are separate queues for males and females. Remember, you're not allowed to bring your laptop inside. They have a very strict security checking.
